Description
Recipe: Jeera Rice (Cumin Rice)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp WowFresh Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp ghee or oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes.
- Heat ghee/oil in a pan and add WowFresh Cumin Powder, sautéing for a few seconds.
- Add soaked rice and water, then salt to taste.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat until rice is cooked and fluffy.
- Serve hot as a fragrant side dish with curries or dals.
