Description
Recipe: Simple Dal Tadka
Ingredients:
- 1 cup yellow lentils (moong dal or toor dal)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp WowFresh Dhana Jeeru Khandela
- 1 tsp ghee or oil
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Method:
- Rinse lentils and cook in water with a pinch of turmeric until soft.
- Heat ghee/oil in a small pan, add WowFresh Dhana Jeeru Khandela, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour the tempered spice mix into cooked dal, add salt, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
